My NAVUG Summit Summary

Updated: Jul 16, 2021

This years’ NAVUG (NAV User Group) Summit was held in St. Louis, MO and was attended by nearly 500 Microsoft Dynamics NAV end-users, partners, and professionals. The conference was full of learning opportunities and provided a great chance to network with other NAV users. Microsoft had a strong presence at the conference and spoke to the group about the future of NAV and what types of things we can all expect to see from NAV in the coming years. It was great to hear how committed Microsoft is to Dynamics NAV and how important it is to the entire Microsoft story of “One Microsoft”.

This year, I had the opportunity to lead two user sessions: All About Budgets and Best Practices in Inventory Management. Both sessions had 25+ attendees and I really enjoyed interacting with the users who attended. The consensus seemed to be that everyone left the conference full of new ideas to help them get more out of their current NAV environment. I am looking forward to attending next years’ NAVUG Summit, which will be held in Reno, NV where I will be able to work the NAV community, and maybe do a bit of gambling or hiking in nearby Lake Tahoe.
