A Shot of Business Central and A Beer Podcast Show Notes
Beer we're drinking
Raddler Beer. Grapefruit and Cherry.
What is a Raddler?
A Raddler is a half beer half fruit concoction.
History of a Raddler
The nickname "Radler" comes from a beverage called Radlermass, which translates to "cyclist liter" and was invented by innkeeper Franz Kugler in the little village of Deisenhofen, outside of Munich. Kugler built a bicycle path from Munich through the forests that led straight to his bar during the heyday of riding in the Roaring Twenties. A reported "13,000 cyclists" invaded Kugler's celebration in 1922 on a lovely June day. As his supply of beer quickly ran out, he mixed it 50/50 with a lemon soda he could never manage to get rid of, and the rest is history.
